Courrier Virtuel undertakes to transport items described on the printable waybill, according to the law of the province of Québec, according to the terms of the Civil code.


Responsibilities

Courrier Virtuel will not be responsible at all for losses, damages or delay in the following cases:
· Act of God
· Riots
· Strikes
· Effects of the law
· Defects or vices inherent to the sent goods
· Defects on behalf of the sender or the owner the sent goods
· Nuclear reaction or contagion by radiation or radioactivity


Declared Value of the shipment

The responsibility of Courrier Virtuel for any losses, damages or accidents on a shipment, is limited to $3.00 / kg and\or $50.00, except for a written agreement between the sender and Courrier Virtuel and if the name of the sender is mentioned on the additional clause of the cargo insurance of Courrier Virtuel.


Superior value declared on the waybill

An additional 3% charge applies then, by $100.00 value or fraction of. Courrier Virtuel will not be held to accept any shipment of a value superior of $250.00, unless a written agreement is made to that effect.


Loss or damage

Any damage must be registered on the copy of delivery of the waybill during the delivery otherwise the signature of the consignee will constitute a reception without contesting. Any declaration of non apparent damage must be given to Courrier Virtuel within twenty four (24) hours after delivery. Courrier Virtuel will not be responsible for such damage or loss unless a written declaration is given within ten ( 10 ) days after the shipent was accepted by Courrier Virtuel.


Weight and dimension


Parcels can not exceed more than 70 pounds each. (Except agreement beforehand if applicable)

Unauthorized transport

Transport of money, dangerous goods, persons or animals are forbidden.
